Cookie Notification

Axelleron uses cookies on its website (such as www.Axelleron.com). You can find out more about cookies and how to control them in the information below. By using the Axelleron Services, you accept the use of cookies in accordance with this Cookie Notice. In particular, you accept the use of the targeting cookies for the purposes described below. If you do not accept the use of these cookies, then please disable them following the instructions in this Cookie Notice, specifically as described in “Cookie Choices and How to Opt Out”. If you have any questions, please consult our Privacy Notice or contact us at privacy@axelleron.com

What is a Cookie?
Cookies are small pieces of data that are downloaded to your device when you visit a website. We use cookies for a variety of useful purposes. They were originally designed to reliably record functional activity such as what items a user put in their shopping cart. Today, cookies are also useful because they allow a website to recognize a user’s device. When you use or access Axelleron Services, we and the service providers who are working on our behalf collect information by occasionally saving cookies to your device.

What Cookies Do We Use?
Cookies served through Axelleron Services are either created by Axelleron (“First-Party Cookies”) or are created by an independent technology provider (“Third-Party Cookies”). Axelleron serves a variety of First-Party Cookies to power and improve Services. We use some First-Party Cookies to enable the core features you use in the Axelleron Services (“Strictly-Necessary Cookies”). These Strictly-Necessary Cookies are served by Axelleron and will not be used for targeting or advertising purposes. You cannot opt-out of these cookies.

Other Tracking Technologies
We also collect information through our use of cookie-like technologies to improve Axelleron Services.

We measure numbers of visitors to Axelleron Services using Google Analytics. This service records what pages you view within Axelleron Services, how you arrived at our site and some basic information about your computer. We anonymize the data in Google Analytics – so we know that somebody visited our site but not who you are. The information we collect helps us understand what parts of Axelleron Services are doing well, from where visitors to Axelleron Services arrived, and so on. Like most websites, we use this information to improve Axelleron Services. You can learn more about Google Analytics or opt out if you wish.

We may use Local Shared Objects (“LSOs”), sometimes known as “flash cookies”, and HTML5 web storage to collect and store information. We do this to provide certain features on our website. Third parties with whom we partner may also use LSOs in order to provide certain features on our website or to display advertising based upon your web browsing activity. Various browsers may offer management tools for removing LSOs and HTML5 web storage. You can block and delete HTML5 web storage by following the browser specific cookie management steps set out below in “Cookie Choices and How to Opt Out”.

We may collect information using web beacons (also known as tracking pixels). Web beacons are electronic images that help us deliver cookies and gather usage and performance data like visits counts and user interaction with Axelleron Services. We also track and use the Internet Protocol (“IP”) Address of Axelleron Services users primarily for security and regulatory purposes.

Cookie Choices and How to Opt Out
Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can usually set your preferences to remove cookies, reject cookies, or prompt you before accepting a cookie. Disabling a cookie or category of cookie does not delete the cookie from your device, you will need to do this yourself from within your browser. Please note that opting out will only prevent targeted ads. You may continue to see generic, non-targeted ads after you opt out. Further, if you have disabled one or more targeting cookies, we may still use information collected from targeting cookies prior to your disabled preference being set. However, we will stop using the disabled cookie to collect any further information.

Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers offer a “do not track” (“DNT”) option. We do not respond to DNT signals because no common industry or legal standard for DNT has been established or adopted. We will make efforts to continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology.
